Mary Darcy is without doubt one of Irelands most experienced entertainers. She is highly respected among her fellow professionals ,many of whom are her personal friends. Mary has been performing , recording and appearing on television for may years all over the world and turned professional at the early age of fifteen .That was when her career with  " Two's Company " started

For the next 25 years Mary Toured the world with her partner Eamon McRory recording some dozen albums , and countless singles , many of which were major hits for example  " Eileen McManus " , " Dear John " , " Your My Best Friend " , " Pal Of My Cradle Days " and " Mother Ireland ".

Mary has had the unique distinction of appearing at the Wembley Arena Country Festival , at the Grand Olde Opry in Nashville ,Tennesse and representing Ireland in the " Euro Gold Star Awards in Holland "

Add to that and appearance in front of 65,000 people at " The Stock Yards " in Fort Worth , Texas for which she received and honorary citizenship of Fort Worth from Bob Boylan , its mayor at the time and you hace a small insight into the hectic life of this remarkable woman.

Even after the tragic death of her husband Des , when he was just 49 and the break-up of " Two's Company "  Mary refused to give up. With the help of her two brothers  Mary formed " The Mary Darcy Show Band " and has continued to tour and work as much as ever. Mary and her band are one of the most popular bands to visit Britain and she has just released her second solo album in the last 2 years.
